OneWorks Lighting was incorporated since in August 2013 in partnership with NationGate Solution (M) Sdn Bhd. The purpose of this setup is to spearhead the sales and advancement of BriteGate LED which is researched and manufactured by NationGate Solution (M) Sdn Bhd. Since its inception, BriteGate LED has done well with sales exceeding MYR 10 million with both local and international customers.
It possesses an edge in its area because it offers a change in the way lighting is played with – whether in the sense of craft designs or lighting styles. Being the company that sets the style and quality, it understands the lighting industry, as well as the change in people and their tastes of exquisites.
We have developed close working relationships with our suppliers. Besides Made in Malaysia BriteGate LED, our products are OEM and imported directly from selected China-based manufacturers and also few local partners. We work directly with the manufacturers to ensure that the quality of our lamps is high.

With vision, discipline and determination to achieve high standards of service and product quality, OneWorks Lighting handles projects from corporate buildings, hotels, resorts, shopping malls, hospitals, schools, showrooms, office towers, gardens and parks, etc, resulting in the establishment rapidly growing in popularity and success. With the diversity of its growth, this establishment has transformed into an influential leader, leading in its field. It is an establishment that many seek for design and advice. It is truly the guiding light of the industry.
OUR SERVICES
We have experienced lighting designers throughout our network, using design software to provide the correct lighting solution to the industry. Other than supply and trading in general indoor and outdoor LED lightings for industrial, commercial and residential, we are also providing façade and landscaping lighting design and solutions for customers.
We use the latest in computer modelling software for the design and development of lighting products. The design features address both photometric and mechanical issues, making our products not only high in performance, but also easy to install and maintain.
OneWorks Lighting does not compromise when it comes to safety. All products are manufactured in accordance with the international electrical safety standard IEC60598.1 & associated parts, and comply with EMC regulations.
We are aiming to advance to local and international by providing professional services and technological advancement for LED luminaires.

DATO’ IR. LIM YEW SOON
Dato’ Ir. Lim has served Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for more than 38 years where he held various positions including Chief Engineer as well as General Manager for Penang and Kuala Lumpur overseeing the commercial and technical area of TNB distribution.
Currently, he is the board member of SIRIM Bhd. SIRIM is a premier industrial research and technology organisation in Malaysia and a wholly-owned company of the Malaysian Government under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
He is also Board Chairman of Sirim Standard Technology Sdn Bhd.
He is a Professional Engineer (Lembaga Jurutera Malaysia), Chartered Engineer (Engineering Council, United Kingdom), Competent Engineer (Perakuan Kekompetenan Sebagai Jurutera Elektrik Kompeten, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and Services Engineer (Perakuan Kekompetenan Sebagai Jurutera Perkhidmatan Elektrik, Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
He has no relationship with any other directors of the company.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
TAN HOCK SIM
Mr. Tan joined the company in 2013. He graduated from University Science Malaysia with a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and a Master in Public Administration. Prior to this, he served various positions in the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) and Chief Minister Office in Penang state government and then Prime Minister Department in the federal government.
Currently, he is an adviser to Taipei Investors’ Association in Malaysia, senior advisor to Jinko Solar Technology Sdn Bhd (listed in NYSE) and provides consulting services to investors and developers in matters relating to government affairs.
He has no relationship with any other directors of the company.
MANAGING DIRECTOR
PHEN YEE KANG
Graduate with a Bachelor‘s Degree in Information System at University of Melbourne and Master in Information Management and Systems majoring in Business Intelligence and Process at Monash University. Joined the company in 2009 as a system analyst, he has since progressed to becoming the Director of the Company.
He is also a certified insurance practitioner and a chartered member of AICLA, senior associate of Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Microsoft Certified Professional.
ADVISOR
DATO’ LEONG AH HIN
Dato’ Leong has served more than 30 years in the civil service, as a diplomatic and administrative officer. He was at the foreign ministry in 1971 and later holds many public service positions in various governmental agencies like State Financial Officer to Penang state. His last position was as secretary-general at the Ministry of Science and Technology.
As Secretary General, he sits in many positions in the Ministry including as a board member in Mimos Bhd, Technology Park Malaysia, and National Information Technology Council, to name a few. Upon retiring from government duties, he served as a board member at KLCC Properties Bhd and Government Printers.
He has no relationship with any other directors of the company.
